NPO Microgen is keenly focused on international cooperation. In 2014, it signed cooperation agreements which are unique for the Russian pharmaceutical market. The first project to study the possibility of using peptides was initiated on the basis of the Bioengeneering Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences as part of the cooperation between NPO Microgen and the Cuban pharmaceutical company LABIOFARM for the joint development of anticancer drugs.
In May 2014, the parties signed a triangular agreement between the Saint Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums, the Nicaraguan Social Security Institute and NPO Microgen for the establishment of pharmaceutical production.
In June 2014, NPO Microgen and the Indian company Technovation Healthcare Pvt Ltd. (Mumbai, India) signed a letter of intent providing the transfer of modern Indian technologies of the DTaP vaccine production.
In October 2014, a cooperation agreement was signed between the state company China National Biotec Group Limited. The agreement provides the creation of conditions for strategic and technical cooperation in the manufacture of biopharmaceutical products.
All the agreements involve sharing of experience, the establishment of unique companies taking into account the experience of our colleagues from other countries, and the transfer of technologies. We believe that only in partnership and through sharing theoretical and practical experience we can ensure the creation of effective medicines to protect the health of people around the world.
NPO Microgen intends to attract for cooperation leading scientific and research institutes, national and foreign producers of immunobiological drugs to protect the health of Russian citizens.
