Description
A plasma-substituting fluid obtained by fractionation of plasma and serum from healthy donors.
Presentation
5%, 10%, 20% solution for infusion in 50 ml, 100 ml, 200 ml and 400 ml glass bottles (vials) for blood products, transfusion and infusion preparations. 1 bottle (vial) in each cardboard package with a package insert.
Ingredients
5% solution for infusion
- albumin derived from plasma for fractionation, 5%.
Excipients:
- sodium caprylate (1.4-1.7) g/l;
- sodium chloride (90-160) mmol/l;
- water for injections up to 1 l.
10% solution for infusion
- albumin derived from plasma for fractionation, 10%.
Excipients:
- sodium caprylate (2.8-3.4) g/l;
- sodium chloride (90-160) mmol/l;
- water for injections up to 1 l.
20% solution for infusion
- albumin derived from plasma for fractionation, 20%.
Excipients:
- sodium caprylate (5.7-6.4) g/l;
- sodium chloride (90-160) mmol/l; - water for injections up to 1 l.
Indications
Shock (traumatic, operational, toxic); burns accompanied by dehydration and thickening of blood; acute blood loss; purulent inflammatory diseases; liver disease (with failure of the albumin synthesis function); kidney disease (nephritis, nephrotic syndrome).
Hypoproteinemia, hypoalbuminemia of various origins developed due to malnutrition, reduction of albumin in plasma below 30 g/l, the level of the colloid oncotic pressure below 15 mmHg with a decrease of total protein below 50 g/l; disease of the gastrointestinal system with malabsorption or bowel obstruction.
During surgeries with the use of cardiopulmonary bypass; therapeutic plasmapheresis; hemolytic disease of newborns during the exchange transfusion.
During the presurgical hemodilution and collection of autologous blood components; cerebral edema.
